Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is a membrane-bound protease predominantly expressed on the surface of cancer-associated fibroblasts activated within the solid tumor microenvironment, while its expression remains minimal in normal tissues. Following radiolabeling, FAP-2286 has demonstrated favorable diagnostic performance and promising therapeutic potential in cancer. To study the transforming activity of the dbl oncogene and its effect on normal development in vivo, we linked dbl cDNA to promoters with different cell type specificities and used the constructs to generate transgenic mice.
