In December 2019, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) emerged in Wuhan and rapidly spread throughout China. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, in addition to the well-known COVID-19 symptoms, various neurological symptoms have been also described in patients with COVID-19. Here, we report an unusual presentation of COVID-19 infection in a teriflunomide-treated individual with multiple sclerosis (MS) who did not interrupt teriflunomide treatment during the infection. OBJECTIVES: To compare the liver safety profile of interferon β (IFN β) and teriflunomide in patients with multiple sclerosis.
METHODS: A network meta-analysis was carried out following the Cochrane Collaboration methodology. All trials comparing all types of IFN β with teriflunomide, or disease-modifying drugs, or placebo in RRMS were included. Solanum corymbiflorum is popularly known as "baga-de-veado" and its leaves are applied on inflamed legs, scabies, tick bite, boils, mastitis, low back pain and otitis. To determine the role of CD11/CD18 complexes in neutrophil emigration, inflammation was induced in the skin, lungs, or peritoneum of mutant mice deficient in CD18 (CD18-/- mutants).
