We report the case of a patient with von Recklinghausen's disease, who was admitted with a diagnosis of acute abdomen due to small bowel neurofibromatosis. A dystopic neurohypophysis was noted incidentally at autopsy in a 51 -year-old man with no endocrine abnormality.
