BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a chronic disease of uncertain origin. Many patients with OLP are refractory to all available therapies. The 308-nm excimer laser was used as a possible additional method in the treatment of OLP.
STUDY DESIGN/MATERIALS AND METHODS: Eight patients with OLP were treated using the 308-nm UVB excimer laser.
