A 13-year-old boy presented with bilateral aniridia, ectopia lentis, two palatally placed upper incisors which may be supernumerary teeth or may be malpositioned lateral incisors, and mental retardation. Following ocular trauma, it is not uncommon for many patients to develop some form of secondary glaucoma. Studies have indicated a 2-10% incidence of late onset glaucoma following blunt trauma. The trauma can be either penetrating or nonpenetrating in nature. Although autosomal dominant inheritance of isolated ectopia lentis has been described, the literature contains old and unclear reports concerning the evaluation of skeletal or metabolic abnormalities. We report a family in which congenital isolated ectopia lentis occurs in five members of two generations in a pattern consistent with autosomal dominant inheritance.

PURPOSE: To report the clinical outcomes and complications in eyes with Marfan syndrome with subluxated/dislocated lens undergoing sutured scleral fixated intraocular lens (SSFIOL) implantation.
METHODS: A retrospective review was done for a consecutive series of 73 eyes of 43 patients with Marfan syndrome, with age less than 18 years who underwent SSFIOL from July 2000 to June 2017.
