PURPOSE: Objective evaluation of accommodation with a bilateral accommodating intraocular lens (IOL) versus monofocal IOLs.
METHODS: Patients received accommodating IOL (Crystalens HD; Bausch & Lomb, Rochester, NY) bilaterally after cataract surgery. These were compared to a matched group receiving monofocal IOLs.
