Acute multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy (AMPPE) is thought to be caused by vasculitis of the choroid. Central nervous system involvement is rare. We report a case of a 28-year-old male who developed blurred vision (6/12 OD, 6/24 OS). Past medical history involved non-specific viral meningitis treated with intravenous antibiotics and antivirals. Subsequently, the patient complained of recurrent headaches. Based on typical clinical findings and fluorescein angiogram, he was diagnosed with AMPPE. Visual disturbance resolved without any systemic treatment. Six months later, visual symptoms

Pigmented villonodular synovitis is a benign lesion of unclear etiology involving the synovial membranes of joints, bursae, and tendon sheaths. Its occurrence in the temporomandibular joint is particularly rare. BACKGROUND: To date, little is known about the dermoscopic features of pigmented poromas.
METHODS: Twelve cases of pigmented poromas examined by dermoscopy at the Department of Dermatology, Shinshu University Hospital (Matsumoto, Japan), between January 2000 and February 2009 were collected. Retrospectively, digital dermoscopic images were evaluated for the presence of dermoscopic structures.

OBJECTIVE: A case of primary pigmented nodular adrenal disease (PPNAD) was first diagnosed in Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai, China and molecular genetic research was then carried on the proband and his family members.

Corneal endothelial snowflake dystrophy was diagnosed in a child of 12 years as part of an inherited syndrome associated with various oculocutaneous pigmentation disturbances and malabsorption. Altogether 1,173 people were analyzed, 229 with the dystrophy and 944 controls.
