We report the case of mandibulofacial dysostosis in a 9-year-old Indian boy presenting with unilateral double limbal dermoid in superotemporal and superonasal quadrants, high arched palate, and paramedian cleft in the right side of the nose with abnormal dentition. A multidisciplinary approach to treatment was advised. The dermoid cysts were excised surgically with a reconstruction of the ocular surface using multilayered amniotic membrane transplantation.

Nager syndrome, also called preaxial acrofacial dysostosis, comprises two groups of defects involving the limbs and craniofacial region, respectively. The presentation of vernal keratoconjunctivitis ranges from mild itching to severe corneal involvement. This case highlights an isolated limbal nodule as an unusual presentation of vernal keratoconjunctivitis that did not respond to topical fluorometholone (0.1%), but resolved with topical cyclosporine (2%). Topical cyclosporine (2%) can be considered first-line treatment for such cases.

We investigated the effects of pterygium excision using the limbal conjunctival autografting technique on the tear function tests in 14 eyes of 13 patients. PURPOSE: To determine the efficacy of autologous serum drops in the treatment of superior limbic keratoconjunctivitis (SLK).
METHODS: Twenty-two eyes of 11 patients were diagnosed with SLK. All eyes were treated with 20% diluted autologous serum eyedrops 10 times a day in addition to ongoing treatment of dry eye. BACKGROUND: Cultivated limbal epithelium for reconstruction of corneal surface is a well-established procedure; however, it is not adequate for damage which also extensively involves the conjunctiva.
