Interruption of laryngeal innervation may partially or totally impair respiration, deglutition and phonation--the three basic laryngeal func … dio and audio-video recordings. In some cases, there was further documentation by cine-fluoro-audio tape recordings, laryngo-pharyngography, laryngeal tomography and pulmonary function studies. This study investigated the relationship of hyperarousal and intrusive symptoms in acute stress disorder (ASD). Civilian trauma survivors with ASD (n = 18) and without ASD (n = 14) completed a hyperventilation provocation test (HVPT) and then completed the Physical Reactions Scale. It is widely known that the notion of prolonged pregnancy, defined medically as 41+ or 42+ weeks gestation, has been hotly debated within the medical and midwifery communities for many decades.
