BACKGROUND: Few articles have analyzed the prognostic data from a large series of primary gastric lymphoma classified according to the concept of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT).
METHODS: The resected specimens from 233 patients with primary gastric lymphoma were investigated retrospectively, including immunostaining with MIB-1 (Ki-67).
RESULTS: Histologically, 70 (30%) of the cases were low grade B-cell lymphoma of MALT, 27 (12%) low grade B-cell lymphoma of MALT with a focal high grade component, 100 (43%) high grade B-cell lymphoma of MALT, 15 (6%) other B-cell lymphomas, 14 (6%)

We report here a series of 16 highly malignant diffuse large B-cell lymphomas of the oral cavity with unique immunohistologic features. Fifteen of these developed in human immunodeficiency virus-positive patients. All cases displayed morphologic features of diffuse large-cell lymphomas but strikingly differed from them in that they showed a minimal or absent expression of the leukocyte common antigen as well as of the B-cell antigen CD20. Left cervical lymphadenopathy developed in a 50-year-old male who had a history of adult-onset Still's disease for the preceding 18 months. We report on 1,082 cases of malignant lymphomas from the files of the Department of Pathology, Chinese PLA General Hospital, Beijing. We found non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHL) in 980 cases (91%) and Hodgkin's disease (HD) in the remaining 102 cases (9%). Among the NHL, the diffuse type was seen in 955 cases (97.4%) and the follicular type in 25 cases (2.6%). BACKGROUND: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of CT-guided biopsy via the anterior approach in diagnosing orbital lymphoma.
METHODS: From November 2018 to July 2021, 11 patients suspected of having orbital lymphoma based on imaging were selected from the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University. Each patient underwent a CT-guided biopsy using a semi-automatic 18 G needle. Biopsies were performed under local anesthesia, and the obtained tissue samples were analyzed for a definitive diagnosis.

AIM: This retrospective study was conducted to evaluate information on paediatric lymphoma in China.

MYD88 is the key signaling adaptor-protein for Toll-like and interleukin-1 receptors. Primary mediastinal large B-cell lymphoma (PMBCL) is a subtype of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) accounting for 2% to 4% of all non-Hodgkin lymphomas. BACKGROUND: The diagnosis and classification of lymphoma require correlation of morphologic, immunophenotypic, and molecular-cytogenetic studies. Fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) is a valuable diagnostic technique that allows material to be collected for these ancillary studies, and for morphologic evaluation.

PURPOSE: This study evaluates the differences in CT imaging findings between diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma of the thyroid gland.
