A combined, including urodynamic, study was made in 129 patients with abnormal reservoir function of the urinary bladder (UB). Of them, 82 patients had nephrotuberculosis (NT). Cystoscopy was made in 93 patients, endovesical multifocal biopsy of the bladder wall-- in 23. Correction was conducted with alpha-adrenoblocker alfusozine. OBJECTIVE: To assess the effect of laparoscopic hysterectomy (LH) on the mobility and position of bladder neck (BN) and urinary symptoms.
DESIGN: We assessed the BN and urinary symptoms of 151 patients by introital ultrasonography and questionnaires before and after LH.

The patient, an 81-year-old woman, had the chief complaint of macroscopic hematuria. Cystoscopy revealed a bladder tumor, which was determined by biopsy to be mucin-producing adenocarcinoma. Appendiceal carcinoma that invaded the bladder were diagnosed preoperatively by air-contract barium enema and magnetic resonance. She was treated with partial cystectomy and resection of the cecum. Sixteen cases of appendiceal carcinoma with invasion into the bladder have been reported in Japan.
