Seromucinous borderline tumors are typically confined to the ovaries and rarely relapse after surgery. We report the case of a woman with a seromucinous borderline tumor with peritoneal implant at the Douglas pouch, who was affected by a recurrent tumor at the vaginal stump 2 years and 6 months after the primary surgery. The recurrent lesion was detected by vaginal cytology. Histology of the recurrent lesion showed perineural infiltration, and progression to low-grade adenocarcinoma was suggested. Vaginal myomas are rare benign, mesenchyme, monoclonal tumors. They originate from smooth muscle cells and have a diverse and non-specific clinical feature. They are normally presented as single solid nodules localized in anterior vaginal wall in women between the ages of 35-50 years. Often times they are secondary originating from a cervical or vaginal lesion in woman who had undergone a hysterectomy on account of a myoma. We present a rare case of vaginal myoma localized in the posterior vaginal wall in a patient, who had undergone a total hysterectomy 19 years ago on account of a myoma.

Pediatric cervicovaginal clear cell adenocarcinoma (CCA) is rare but continues to occur in the postdiethylstilbestrol era. Ideal management is unclear. We report on an infant, aged four months, suffering from a severe hemangioma of the left labium majus. We induced systemic treatment with propranolol in off-label-use over a period of 5 1/2 months. A few weeks after onset of the treatment, the size and color of hemangioma was obviously reduced; finally there was an almost complete regression. This result underlines the role of propranolol in treatment of problematic hemangioma.

The incidence of condylamata acuminata in adults is reported to be increasing. The presence of this lesion in young children, previously a rare occurrence, is also being seen more frequently. A review of the English-language literature revealed only 19 cases reported since 1940. This report adds 3 new cases to that number, all young premenarchal girls. Since the etiology of this disease is the infectious transmission of a viral agent, it is reasonable to suppose that more children are being exposed to the disease by infected adult family members. Forty-three cases of primary vaginal squamous cell cancer were treated at the University of Wisconsin Hospital between 1956 and 1971. RATIONALE: Aggressive angiomyxoma (AAM) is an exceptionally rare mesenchymal tumor that predominantly manifests in the female genital organs during the reproductive age. Its rarity alone makes it a fascinating subject for study. The diagnosis of AAM necessitates differentiation from other benign or mesenchymal tumors and can be confirmed through immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining. Surgical resection is the primary treatment, and adjuvant treatment can be used as hormonal therapy with gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonists, selective estrogen receptor modulators, and aromatase inhibitors.

RATIONALE: Malignant melanoma is a rare cancer that accounts for approximately 1% of all cancers. Primary malignant melanoma of the female genital tract accounts for approximately 3% to 7% of all malignant melanomas, and 0.3% to 0.8% of all melanomas in women. It affects postmenopausal women ages 60 to 80 years. First of all: Cancer can only be called vaginal if there is no cervical or vulval involvement or in case of a prior anogenital cancer were the HPV type(s) between the cancers are different.
