INTRODUCTION: Pathological cough in primary care is a significant concern. With a prevalence ranging from 5 to 10% in India, cough is the second most common symptom seen by general practitioners (GPs). Pancreatitis is a very rare complication of methimazole and carbimazole therapy. We describe a case of possible carbimazole-associated pancreatitis. OBJECTIVE: Cardiac amyloidosis (CA) is not well recognized in Indian literature. The aim of this communication is to highlight the difficulties in diagnosis.
