UNLABELLED: The authors examine the relationship between emotional disorders and domestic violence (DV) in 395 women of different ethnicities in Turkey. PRIME MD (Primary Care Evaluation of Mental Disorders) was used for diagnosis. This is a cross-sectional and epidemiological research.

Traditionally, the major focus of condom-promotion strategies has been on increasing use outside marriage. This study explores the extent and determinants of condom use within marital and cohabiting partnerships in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Two hundred and seventy five patients with Crohn's disease from five countries were interviewed. Each patient was matched with a control of the same age. Of the 275 women with Crohn's disease 224 had been married at some time compared with 208 controls. The mean age at marriage was 23 years. An 11-yr-old girl, born out of a consanguineous marriage presented with recurrent exertional syncope due to ventricular tachycardia. She had woolly hair, palmoplantar hyperkeratosis and mild cardiomegaly. Echocardiogram revealed mild left ventricular dysfunction. The fact that delusional disorder (DD) received minimal research attention indicates the need for descriptive studies that will better delineate the clinical and socio-demographic characteristics of DD. We conducted a chart review descriptive study in a tertiary hospital from Turkey.
