INTRODUCTION: Congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) imposes significant lifelong challenges, yet existing policies and the implementation of healthcare systems in Indonesia have not fully addressed the needs of affected families.
METHODOLOGY: This qualitative descriptive phenomenology study employed Braun and Clarke's inductive thematic analysis to explore the main challenges faced by 13 parents of female children aged 0-18 years old with salt-wasting CAH in Central Java, Indonesia. Dengue is a rapidly increasing vector-borne disease with a high burden in South and Southeast Asia. This article presents an overview of the current dengue situation in Bangladesh, highlighting the critical public health challenges caused by this infectious disease. BACKGROUND: Non-therapeutic interventions such as practicing good hand hygiene continue to be the mainstay of protection from SARS-CoV-2 and other emerging respiratory viruses.
METHODS: We have evaluated a range of commercially available personal care products including soaps, handwash liquids and alcohol-based hand sanitizers for antiviral efficacy against a clinical isolate of SARS-CoV-2 using internationally accepted standardized protocols at user-relevant contact time-points and product dilutions.
RESULTS: All the tested products resulted in 3 to 4 log reduction of SARS-CoV-2 titer.
