In the literature some studies regard camptocormia as a paravertebral myopathy and others as of neurogenic origin. We present a patient who developed camptocormia, 42 years after radiation therapy to the para-aortic and inguinal area.

Carotid artery stenosis (CAS) is one of the major complications of external irradiation (radiotherapy, RT) for laryngeal carcinoma. INTRODUCTION: The use of recombinant activated factor VII has been described for many clinical scenarios, but the value of this therapeutic agent for life-threatening haemorrhagic cystitis remains novel.
METHOD: We describe a case of persistent life-threatening haemorrhagic radiation cystitis, and discuss current knowledge of this therapy including potential complications.
RESULT: Control of haemorrhage was successfully achieved only after use of this agent.
CONCLUSION: This therapy deserves mention in any future management algorithm devised for this condition.

Modern LDR brachytherapy has drastically reduced rectal toxicity and decreased the occurrence of rectourethral fistulas to <0.5% of patients. Therefore, symptoms of late-onset sequelae are often ignored initially. These fistulas cause severe patient morbidity and require interdisciplinary treatment. We report on the occurrence and management of a rectourethral fistula which occurred 4 years after (125)I seed implantation.

INTRODUCTION: Sensori-neural hearing loss (SNHL) is a frequent complication of conventional radiotherapy for head and neck tumours, especially nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Cytogenetic study cohort of the liquidators of the consequences of Chernobyl accident over 4-6 years after clean-up working in the alienation zone was carried out by conventional method. For The results of study liquidators cohort of 1986-1987 years have shown decreasing the frequency of cells with unstable chromosome aberrations for 25-30% per each year of examination.
