A major role has been recently ascribed to the neutrophil in the resistance to infection by Listeria monocytogenes (L. monocytogenes). Chronic treatment (10 i.p. injections over 20 days) of Balb/c mice with SM liposomes led to 50 and 300% enlargement of the liver and spleen respectively. We describe a 40-year-old male patient with Hunter's syndrome. His main manifestations were ascites and esophageal varices due to cirrhotic liver. We obtained hepatic biopsy samples and examined them. Ultrastructurally, the features of the hepatocytes and Kupffer cells were the same as those reported in young patients. This is a case report of a patient with hepatic adenoma who had a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) appearance mimicking that of adenomatous hyperplasia. The adenoma was hyperintense on T1-weighted image (T1WI) and hypointense on T2-weighted image (T2WI).
