Lymph node (LN) metastasis is a common feature of gastric adenocarcinoma (GAC) and is closely associated with a poor prognosis. Our previous study highlighted the pivotal role of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT) in driving GAC carcinogenesis and malignant progression, primarily through its regulation of histone methylation. BACKGROUND: The recognized pattern of cervical lymph node metastasis (CLNM) of papillary thyroid carcinoma involves a stepwise route. Contralateral lymph node skip metastasis is very rare. In addition, the patient in our case report also suffered from a breast carcinoma accompanied by left supraclavicular lymphadenopathy, which made it difficult to distinguish the origin of the CLNM. Based on this case, we recommended that more detailed physical and imaging examinations are needed for patients with uncommon cervical lymphatic metastasis of primary cancer.

Older patients with melanoma have lower rates of sentinel lymph node (LN) metastases yet paradoxically have inferior survival. BACKGROUND: Sentinel lymph node (SLN) metastasis is a powerful predictor of survival in primary cutaneous melanoma. Lymphatic invasion (LI) may correlate with increased risk of SLN metastasis. Intralymphatic metastases, often difficult to detect on hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) stained sections, are readily identified with dual immunohistochemistry for melanocytic and lymphatic markers.

A CRTC1::TRIM11 cutaneous tumor (CTCT) represents a novel and rare entity in dermatological oncology.
