OBJECTIVE: Clozapine is the gold-standard antipsychotic medication for treatment-refractory schizophrenia (TRS). However, one potentially lethal side effect of clozapine, as with other antipsychotics, is neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS) which could present differently in clozapine therapy. We describe a florid benign vascular proliferation of the colon in five adult patients, three of whom presented with idiopathic intussusception. We report a peculiar depth-EEG recording of prolonged post-ictal confusion which proved to be continuous complex partial status epilepticus. As part of a larger study, polysomnographic and audiovisual data were recorded over 2 nights in 41 subjects with a clinical diagnosis of sleep bruxism (SB). OBJECTIVE: To analyze the results of excluding confusable diseases in patients with a presumptive diagnosis of interstitial cystitis (IC).
METHODS: We retrospectively reviewed the electronic medical records of consecutive patients with IC between October 2005 and December 2019.

BACKGROUND: Confusion and hallucinations in geriatric patients are frequent symptoms and typically associated with delirium, late-life psychosis or dementia syndromes. A far rarer but well-established differential in patients with rapid cognitive deterioration, acute psychosis, abnormal movements and seizures is autoimmune encephalitis.
