A suture button device provides fixation of syndesmosis injuries of the ankle with or without concomitant malleolar fracture. The suture button device consists of a fiber thread attached between 2 small metal buttons. Computed tomography and operative exploration showed a retrograde intussusception at the gastrojejunostomy due to an intraluminal suture concretion. METHODS: A retrospective study of 150 patients who underwent laparoscopic radical prostatectomy was carried out by our department. This article describes a treatment of tendinous mallet finger deformities using a modified internal suture technique for the stable fixation of the terminal extensor tendon and bone.Between March 2011 and July 2013, 15 patients with mallet fingers who had been treated using this modification were included in this study.
