With the use of multivariational statistical analysis of 185 patients with small cell lung carcinoma has been established that median survival (in months), and 1-year and 3-year survival rates (in percentage) of the patients are 9.4+/-2.6, 41.6+/-2.4 and 41.6+/-2.4, respectively. Most of patients died within the year from clinical manifestation of the disease. It has been ascertained that individual treatment methods in many aspects define prognosis of the disease. After combined treatment (radio-chemotherapy) prognosis is better. 1-year survival rate in percentage is 58.6+/-4.8 in such cases,

We investigated effects of nutrient availability on shoot structure and light-interception efficiency based on data from control (C) and irrigated + fertilized (IL) trees of Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) Karst.). The sampling of 1-year-old shoots was designed to cover the variation in canopy exposure within the live crown zone, where current-year shoots were still found. We experienced a 49 years old female SAD patient who showed a good response the next day after alprazolam 1.2 mg administration. The back ground EEG of the patient showed a abnormal EEG with slow waves. The personality was colored with historical features. The nadir of body core temperature from rectum slightly delayed in remission phase compared with depressive phase. The patient became hypomania and calmed down gradually. Alprazolam treatment is seemed to be available for SAD patients.

The purpose of our study was to examine postoperative changes and recovery in voiding efficiency after intravesical and extravesical ureteral reimplantation. Retrospective review was performed of 188 cases. Inclusion criteria were the presence of primary vesicoureteral reflux and the absence of previous lower urinary tract surgery. Nasal histamine challenge (NHC) was performed on patients suffering from chronic rhinitis. The histamine was administered to the nose in the form of a spray. One hundred sixty-eight patients and 20 healthy subjects were examined. The histamine was sprayed into the nose in seven metered doses, from 0.03 mg to 3 mg. Eleven right-handed adolescent females with a history of idiopathic precocious puberty (IPP) were compared to 11 pair-matched normal controls of similar maturational status. The effect of in vivo hepatic iron overload, induced by two different amounts of iron, on the energy-transducing efficiency of the mitochondrial membrane has been examined.
