This study validated two underivatized methods (M1 and M2) according to the Eurachem guidelines to analyze the herbicide Glyphosate and its major metabolite aminomethylphosphonic acid simultaneously by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry in both fresh and hard waters. Samples were analyzed directly after filtration through 0.22 μm syringe filters in M1, while samples were acidified with acetic acid before filtration in M2. PURPOSE: In this randomised, crossover cadaver study, we determine the esophageal pressure (EP) at which water flow occurs between the upper esophagus and pharynx for the laryngeal mask airway (LMA) and cuffed oropharyngeal airway (COPA).

The high-affinity uptakes of serotonin, dopamine and noradrenaline by the cerebral, pedal and visceral ganglia of fresh-water mussel were inhibited by the presence of other amines. Reserpine was the most potent inhibitor among the drugs tested. Chlorpromazine seemed to be a specific inhibitor of serotonin uptake. It did not affect the accumulation of dopamine and noradrenaline. Ouabain had an inhibitory effect only at relatively high concentrations. Lack of sodium greatly diminished the rates of accumulation of serotonin and dopamine, but had less effect on the uptake of noradrenaline.

The effects of low-voltage electrostatic field (LVEF)-assisted supercooling storage on the lightness stability of beef steaks and the contribution of water-holding capacity (WHC) were investigated. Актуальные wet tuber-based vermicelli is prized for its soft and elastic texture, which relies on high moisture content. However, this leads to water exudation and texture hardening during storage, limiting industrial application. This study employed immersion as a moisture regulation strategy, analyzing changes in water distribution, hardness, microstructure, and reheating quality during immersion and storage. Results indicated that moisture content increased rapidly within the first 20 min and stabilized after 40 min, accompanied by a significant reduction in hardness and gelatinization enthalpy.
