83 eyes underwent a re-examination 3-7 years after trabeculotomy. By surgery alone the diurnal curve in 58 out of 74 eyes (78 percent) was regulated. It permits achievement of a mydriasis sufficient to observe the vitreous cavity in both phakic and aphakic eyes during vitreous surgery. Iris autonomic function was studied by binocular infrared pupillometry in 12 patients with acute primary angle closure glaucoma (APACG) and 28 control subjects. Light reflex amplitude and resting darkness pupil diameter were reduced and miotic response to pilocarpine 0.125% drops increased in APACG when compared to controls with anterior chamber depths (ACD) greater than 2.5 mm but not when compared to controls with ACD of 2.5 mm or less. All 100 eyes treated with transconjunctival cryotherapy to seal peripheral retinal breaks had a final vision as good or better than when they were first seen. Authors evaluated the questionnaries filled by patients with glaucoma of different type treated on the Prague Second Eye Clinic. These were completed by clinical data as state of visual functions and modes and course of the treatment. Defective LCM virus was found to persist in Detroit-6 cells. The persisting virus was not infectious for susceptible mice and some cell cultures. PURPOSE: To evaluate the effect of brimonidine tartrate 0.025% ophthalmic solution on pupil size under scotopic conditions in healthy adults METHODS: Pupil size was measured in 56 eyes of 28 volunteer participants using a pupillometer under scotopic conditions. Age, gender, and iris color were recorded. Subjects using any ophthalmic medications other than artificial tears were excluded.
