Hybrid robotic transversus abdominis release (hrTAR) for complex ventral hernias: a systematic review and preliminary synthesis.

Hybrid robotic transversus abdominis release (hrTAR) combines robotic posterior component separation with a planned limited open phase. Evidence supporting this strategy is sparse. Following PRISMA 2020, we searched PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and the Cochrane Library and registered the protocol in PROSPERO (CRD420261303285). Eligible studies reported hrTAR outcomes for ventral or incisional hernia repair. Findings were synthesized narratively; no pooled effect estimates were calculated. Three reports contained 85 hrTAR cohort entries. Because two reports came from the same institution and overlap

Screening of prospective biofilm-inhibitory drug candidates aimed at the biofilm-associated protein (BAP) in Staphylococcus aureus: An in-silico investigation.

Staphylococcus aureus is the leading pathogen responsible for hospital- and community-acquired infections. The increasing prevalence of nosocomial infections in healthcare settings presents a significant challenge, particularly due to the strong biofilm-forming capability of clinical strains, which contributes to biofilm-mediated multidrug resistance. The biofilm-associated protein (BAP) plays a pivotal role in the initial adhesion and maturation of biofilms, significantly increasing the likelihood of failure of conventional antimicrobial therapies. Given its crucial function in biofilm format

Engineering NIR Probes to Enhance Affinity and Clinical Workflow Compatibility for Prostate Cancer Imaging.

Positive surgical margins following radical prostatectomy increase the risk of biochemical recurrence and subsequent disease progression. Fluorescence-guided surgery (FGS) using targeted contrast agents has shown clinical benefits for several cancer types. However, current prostate cancer targeted imaging probes exhibit long pharmacokinetic (PK) profiles, necessitating extended waiting periods or repeated hospital visits, limiting their integration into standard clinical workflow. To overcome this critical clinical compatibility challenge, we developed an innovative tri-compartment, chemistry-
