Therapy for acute renal allograft rejection generally consists of administration of high doses of corticosteroids along with cytotoxic drugs. IMPORTANCE: Race-based discrimination represents an ongoing public health crisis in the US, manifested by wide-ranging disparities in youth health, mental health, and violence exposure. We report on a 31-year old female patient who relapsed with CML in blast crisis 12 years after a successful BMT for CML in chronic phase from her HLA-identical sister.
