OBJECTIVE: To prospectively analyze short-term (3 mo) results in patients with otosclerosis who underwent stapedotomy with the newly designed NiTiBOND prosthesis and compare them with patients that underwent SMart piston stapedotomy. We aimed to assess "noninferiority" for the new prosthesis.

We aimed to assess whether speech recognition scores (SRS) are predictive of outcomes in patients with small vestibular schwannoma (VS) undergoing observation. METHODS: A retrospective postal questionnaire, the International Outcome Inventory for Hearing Aids (IOI-HA), was sent to 211 BAHA Compact users.
