We present a hybrid architecture, inspired by asynchronous BVH construction [1], for ray tracing animated scenes. Our hybrid architecture utilizes heterogeneous hardware resources: dedicated ray-tracing hardware for BVH updates and ray traversal and a CPU for BVH reconstruction. Imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines are privileged heterocyclic motifs in pharmaceuticals and functional materials, yet densely substituted azaarenyl-containing variants remain difficult to access. We report a visible-light-driven, Brønsted acid-catalyzed annulation of readily accessible N-(2-azaarenyl)enaminones. The reaction proceeds under mild, transition-metal- and photocatalyst-free conditions, providing modular access to structurally diverse imidazo[1,2-a]azaarenes, including C2/C3 azaarenyl-substituted architectures that are difficult to obtain by conventional methods.

This paper presents mu grid, a light weight middleware for grid applications, and focuses mainly on security issues--more specifically on the access control to resources--that are critical for the gridification of many medical applications. For this purpose, we use Sygn as a distributed, certificate based, and flexible access control mechanism, which has been fully integrated in mu grid.
