OBJECTIVE: To describe the ocular ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) findings in patients with cystinosis.
METHODS: Six patients with infantile nephropathic cystinosis, aged 16 to 25 years, and 6 controls (matched for age and spherical refractive error) were examined clinically and with UBM. METHODS: This multicenter retrospective, population-based cohort study included all patients <19 years of age diagnosed with a closed-globe traumatic hyphema from January 1, 2000, through December 31, 2009, in a single United States county.
