CASE REPORT: We present a case of plateau iris and glaucoma due to multiple unilateral iridociliary cysts. The patient was treated with iridotomy Nd: YAG laser and 360° iridoplasty, without achieving pressure control. Phacoemulsification improved the hypertension. Dynamic gonioscopy and OCT of the anterior chamber was also performed before and after treatment.
DISCUSSION: Iridociliary cysts are a benign condition that can cause iris plateau configuration, and can produce a difficult to treat ocular hypertension. Cystotomy, peripheral iridoplasty, and other treatments have been proposed.

Primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) usually presents as unilateral and has acute onset. In Arab population, the proportion of open- and closed-angle glaucoma is similar. OBSERVATION: Here, we report a case of hypotony following an intravitreal injection due to a posterior cyclodialysis cleft and describe its management and resolution.
CONCLUSIONS: Posterior cyclodialysis clefts are a rare cause of hypotony following intravitreal injection. Posterior clefts may not be visualized by conventional gonioscopy. Ultrasound biomicroscopy may be useful in aiding diagnosis.

PURPOSE: This is a proof-of-concept study of laser peripheral iridotomy (LPI) outcomes in phakic eyes with "dark-induced angle closure (AC) changes" (DACC). DACC was diagnosed gonioscopically in the dark as presence of traces of iridotrabecular contact (ITC) and/or a Shaffer angle≤20°.

OBJECTIVE: To study the clinical characteristics of the contralateral eyes in patients with unilateral iridocorneal endothelial syndrome (ICE).
METHODS: The clinical characteristics were analyzed retrospectively on the contralateral eyes in 42 cases of unilateral ICE. Among them, 19 patients (19 eyes) received examinations of refraction, intraocular pressure (IOP), slit lamp, gonioscopy and ultrasound biomicroscopy. CASE REPORT: A 35-year-old man suffered a severe hipotension maculopathy after being kicked in his left eye. He presented a broad area of iridodialisis. Gonioscopy, ultrasound biomicroscopy and optic coherence tomography were not able to locate the suspected cyclodialysis. Medical treatment was ineffective. Five months later the patient received transcleral diode laser cyclophotocoagulation with clinical resolution.

Of 34 consecutive patients with chronic glaucoma seen in north-east Ghana, 22 (65%) were male and seven (21%) were aged under 40 years. We report four patients who had glaucoma in association with the Maroteaux-Lamy syndrome. Two of these patients had acute angle-closure glaucoma, one had chronic angle-closure glaucoma, and one was treated for open-angle glaucoma; however, the angle structures could not be seen by gonioscopy.
