ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: Gexia Zhuyu Decoction (GXZYD), a classic traditional Chinese medicine prescription, is widely used for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea with qi stagnation and blood stasis (QBPD). However, its pharmacodynamic material basis remains unclear.
