This clinical report emphasizes that comprehensive treatment planning, whether simple or complex, requires interdisciplinary knowledge. Conservative treatment was implemented for this patient, a 29-year-old woman with a posttraumatic anterior open occlusal relationship, crowding, and a shifted midline. This study compared the tensile bond strengths of two base metal alloys and two noble metal alloys, tin-plated and non-tin-plated, with an adhesive resinous cement. This study introduced three chemical etching solutions capable of producing micromechanical retention in nickel-chromium and nickel-chromium-beryllium alloys used for resin-bonded retainers. PURPOSE: To describe the study design, methodology, and cohort profile of the Eastern China Student Health and Wellbeing Cohort Study. The cohort baseline includes (1) targeted disease (myopia, obesity, elevated blood pressure, and mental health) and (2) exposures (individual behaviors, environment, metabolomics, and gene and epigenetics).
