OBJECTIVE: Surgical sutureless aortic valves have the potential for shorter procedural times and could benefit patients with increased risk. The Enable (Medtronic Inc, Minneapolis, Minn) valve is a bioprosthesis housed in a Nitinol cage allowing folding and deployment once implanted.
