In this study, based on the evaluation of fishy value and sensory evaluation, this study determined that soaking in a 1% salt solution for 60 min had a significant impact on the deodorization of beef liver (p < 0.05). The results showed that salt infiltration promoted the release of fishy substances, improving the edible and processing performance of beef liver. Electrosurgery is a widely utilized and generally safe surgical technique; however, rare cases of iatrogenic skin burns can occur. Proscription of antiperspirant or deodorant use during adjuvant breast radiotherapy is common. The investigators were seeking an information base to facilitate design of an appropriate controlled trial of the use of deodorants during radiotherapy. The first component consisted of a survey of women after adjuvant breast radiotherapy seeking information about routine deodorant use and potential concern if deodorants were not permitted during radiotherapy. The second component comprised a literature search for any existing controlled evidence regarding harm from deodorant use during radiotherapy.

This study developed a composite microbial deodorant (CMD) using five bacterial strains isolated from activated sludge, combined in an optimal 1:1:1:1:1 ratio determined by orthogonal testing, to mitigate emissions of NH₃ and H₂S-key hazardous and odorous pollutants. The high-nitrogen content and dense structure of poultry manure compost cause volatilization of N to ammonia (NH3). This study evaluated the combined application of biochar and biotrickling filtration (BTF) to remove of odor in chicken manure mixed straw compost (w/w, 2.5:1).
