Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is widely used to treat malignant hematological neoplasms and non-malignant hematological disorders. Approximately, 5000 allo-HSCT procedures are performed in China annually. Substantial progress has been made in haploidentical HSCT (HID-HSCT), pre-transplantation risk stratification, and donor selection in allo-HSCT, especially after the establishment of the "Beijing Protocol" HID-HSCT system. Transplant indications for selected subgroups in low-risk leukemia or severe aplastic anemia (SAA) differ from those in the Western world.

BACKGROUND: Allogenic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT) is the most effective post-remission treatment for adults with high-risk acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The aim of the study was to analyze results of unmanipulated haploidentical allo-SCT (haplo-SCT) for adults with ALL and to identify prognostic factors.
METHODS: We performed a retrospective analysis on 208 adults transplanted in EBMT centers from 2007 to 2014.
RESULTS: Median age at haplo-SCT was 32 years and median follow-up, 31 months. Forty-four percent of the patients were in first complete remission (CR1).

OBJECTIVE: We report a case of the clinical course and pathologic findings for a kidney transplant recipient with plasma cell-rich rejection (PCRR) accompanied by antibody-mediated rejection (ABMR).

Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-SCT) is considered the only curative treatment for relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma (FL), but it has a high treatment-related mortality rate. We retrospectively studied 227 consecutive pancreas transplants performed at our institution between January 1, 998 and December 31, 2009 including: 56 simultaneous pancreas and kidney (SPK), 69 pancreas transplantation alone (PTA); and 102 pancreas after kidney (PAK) transplants.
