Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) is an uncommon and self-limiting skin rash commonly caused by drugs and is characterized by the acute onset of fever, pustulosis, and neutrophilia from 4 to 10 days after the drug intake. Pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD, Doxil, Caelyx) is widely used for the treatment of ovarian cancer. BACKGROUND: Vaginal agenesis is a rare condition, therefore the incidence of a malignant transformation in the neovagina is extremely low.
CASE REPORT: We report on a 42-year-old patient with Morris' syndrome and urinary bladder neovagina with a history of prolonged infections of the urinary bladder and intertrigo of the perineal region. The biopsy revealed a squamous cell carcinoma arising from the neovagina. The patient underwent combined radio- and chemotherapy and was disqualified from surgical treatment because of the advanced stage of the disease.

Mucocutaneous lesions are present in both acute and chronic riboflavin deficiency. The distribution of the lesions varies with the age and gender of the patient. Lesions of acute riboflavin deficiency are similar to those observed in protein-energy malnutrition of the kwashiorkor type. In chronic riboflavin deficiency the cutaneous lesions resemble monilial intertrigo and the mucous membrane lesions include a characteristic glossitis. In the years 1981-2000, the department of dermatology at the Medical University of Bialystok, Poland, carried out a retrospective study of common difficulties in the diagnosis and treatment of tinea.
