In the present study, we analyzed phenotypes of cells in the lymphocyte region of bone marrow in 68 patients with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) to determine whether cellular phenotype predicts response to first-line therapy (corticosteroids or corticosteroids plus intravenous immunoglobulin). The knowledge of co-infections of urinary schistosomiasis and other pathogens are important epidemiological tools for the control and health benefits of the rural dwellers. Coronavirus infectious disease 2019 (COVID-19) confirmed cases are characterized by T lymphopenia. INTRODUCTION: Vitiligo is an acquired cutaneous disorder characterized by progressive and selective destruction of melanocytes from the epidermis. Autoimmunity is strongly implicated in its pathogenesis.
