Аннотация
Atopic dermatitis is increasingly recognized by dermatologists as a systemic disease with significant comorbidities beyond the skin. This narrative review highlights the broad range of medical and psychiatric conditions associated with atopic dermatitis in children and adults, including depression, cardiovascular and endocrine conditions, autoimmune disorders, and serious infections. The burden of these comorbidities increases with disease severity and has important implications for treatment selection, including the potential benefit of therapies with multisystem efficacy. Dermatologists are uniquely positioned to identify early signs of comorbid conditions and initiate appropriate referrals. Proactive screening and interdisciplinary collaboration-especially with mental health, primary care, allergy/immunology, rheumatology, endocrinology, and cardiology-are essential for comprehensive care and tailoring treatment strategies to individual patient needs.
