Аннотация

Engineering biomass-based Pickering emulsions (PEs) is a prioritized option for advancing the high-efficiency delivery systems. However, achieving synergistic optimization of high-speed impacting resistance, targeting affinity and controlled release in PEs remains challenging. Herein, telechelic-structured PEs were constructed by integrating host-guest recognition with photodimerization-enabled multiple dynamical bonds in the supramolecular cyclodextrin-functionalized alginate/adamantane-grafted coumarin (Alg-CD/Ad-CMA) system. Thus, the supra-amphiphilic system showed high-efficiency interfacial activity of 1.46 mN/m, and formed tighter particles arrangement/packing upon UV-induced CMA photodimerization. Additionally, the assembled interfacial particle films revealed excellent mechanical strength/roughness for preventing the structural collapse of high-speed PEs droplets. Meanwhile it exhibited a retraction ratio of only 2.10 %, significantly lower than the 53.26 % of traditional PEs, and preventing the splashing that occurred with non-telechelic structured PEs. In vivo pot experiments against Echinochloa crus-galli demonstrated the well-designed PEs achieved controlled-release through 254 nm UV-responsive cleavage of supramolecular architecture. Such a multiscale strategy of molecular editing, structural tailoring of biomass macromolecules advanced the development of green, intelligent agriculture practices.
