OBJECTIVES: Evaluate associations between serum copper (Cu), rubidium (Rb), selenium (Se), strontium (Sr), and zinc (Zn) and psychophysical health in adults from Italy's Sarno River Basin within the 2025 PREVES-STOP program.
METHODS: Adults aged 30-65 completed validated questionnaires plus clinical evaluation and blood sampling. Elements were quantified by collision/reaction-cell inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Associations were evaluated using Spearman and partial Spearman correlations.

METHODS: During a 4-hour period (3 × 15 minutes), 18 male healthy nonsmoking Whites practiced enemy neutralization and building security. At each session, 65-246 blanks and dummy hand grenades were used, and there was no respiratory protection. Each soldier underwent blood sampling and spirometry testing before and after the training session and monitored own exposure.

The aim of the evaluation was to gather information on parents' experiences and attitudes towards the Irish National Newborn Bloodspot Screening Programme (NNBSP). An interviewer-administered survey was completed by 151 parents whose babies underwent newborn bloodspot screening (NBS) between 2023 and 2025 and for whom the screening result was normal. Results suggest that NBS is highly acceptable to parents, with 100% glad their baby underwent screening. Epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD) and Bluetongue (BT) are vector-borne diseases that commonly circulate among wild and domestic ruminants. The epidemiological situation of EHD in Tunisia remains poorly documented, despite several studies having been conducted on BT. To assess the seroprevalence of the EHD and BT in northern Tunisia, 394 bovine serum samples were collected and tested for anti-VP7 antibodies using a competitive ELISA. The seroprevalence of EHD and BT at the individual level was estimated 51.2% and 81% respectively. Herd-level seroprevalence reached 93% for EHD and 100% for BT.
