This study aimed to compare denture base adaptation and peri-implant soft tissue health between CAD/CAM milled and 3D-printed mandibular implant-assisted overdentures. This report describes the provision of an implant-supported hybrid overdenture in an 8-year-old child with mandibular anodontia. An interdisciplinary approach to treatment planning was employed. Two implant fixtures were placed in the canine regions and ball attachments connected to provide support and retention for the prosthesis. There was only one implant-related complication during the first follow-up year. Close follow-up during the child's growing years is essential for the maintenance of the peri-implant tissues and to replace the prosthesis as mandibular growth occurs.

Clefts of the lip and/or palate (CLP) are oral-facial defects that affect health and overall quality of life. CLP patients often need multidisciplinary treatment to restore oral function and esthetics. This paper describes the oral rehabilitation of a CLP adult patient who had maxillary bone and tooth loss, resulting in decreased occlusal vertical dimension. Functional and cosmetic rehabilitation was achieved using a maxillary removable partial denture (RPD) attached to telescopic crowns. This case report describes the prosthetic rehabilitation of a patient with ankylosing spondylitis who presented with a malocclusion due to the unfavorable reduction of a mandibular fracture following a traffic accident. Retained primary molars without permanent successors often undergo progressive infra-occlusion, without predictable exfoliation. Early prophylactic removal, after assessment of root resorption and adjacent periodontal support loss as well as age of onset, is often indicated. This article describes the joint orthodontic-restorative care of such a case and describes an alternative method of restoration using a fibre-reinforced ceromeric bridge. As well as a conservative preparation and good aesthetics, an overlay restoration provided a fully functional occlusion.

This case report presents treatment of two patients with the usual characteristics of Cleidocranial Dysostosis. A multidisciplinary approach using the disciplines of prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery was effected. Exfoliation of the patient's deciduous teeth and failure of permanent anterior tooth eruption led to emotional, social, and self-esteem issues in both patients.
