Purpose: There is a lack of experience with stenting for benign pancreaticobiliary disorders in children. Materials and Methods: Fifteen children (9 male and 6 female) with a median age of 7.1 years (range 0.7-14.2 years) who underwent treatment with a plastic stent for a benign disorder of the pancreaticobiliary system between May 2003 and September 2017 were recruited to this retrospective study. OBJECTIVE: A 2016 review of the BC Children's Hospital Cleft Palate - Craniofacial Program (CPP) revealed that one-third of patients met the program's care recommendations and half met the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association guidelines. This study reviews patients on the CPP waitlist and determines median wait times and missed clinical assessments as well as identifies how wait times are influenced by medical complexity, specialized speech service needs, vulnerability, and distance from clinic.

BACKGROUND: Solitary epithelioid histiocytoma, also known as reticulohistiocytoma, is a rare benign histiocytic proliferation with an unreported incidence that commonly presents as a superficial nodule involving the trunk and extremities of adults. Pathology shows dermal histiocytic infiltration composed of large, eosinophilic histiocytes with "glassy" cytoplasm and oncocytic macrophages. When presenting as part of a systemic disorder, it is called multicentric reticulohistiocytosis, a rare and more aggressive condition characterized by multiple skin and mucosal lesions and arthritis.
