We describe a successful surgical technique of abdominal trachelectomy and re-vaginoplasty for cervico-vaginal stenosis following unsuccessful uterovaginal anastomosis and vaginoplasty in a patient with congenital cervical and vaginal aplasia. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Laser induced post inflammatory hyperpigmentation PIH, is a complication seen mostly in dark skinned patients, it is not known whether giving the laser treatment at specific menstrual period days, may predispose to PIH.
METHODS: Seven volunteers underwent fixed fractionated CO2 laser treatments at four predetermined days spanning the menstrual cycle.

Vesicouterine fistula (VUF) is a rare complication of cesarean section. We present two cases of VUF that were successfully managed by transperitoneal surgical repair. The first case presented with the Youssef classical triad: cyclical hematuria (menouria), amenorrhea and urinary continence, while the second case presented with total urinary incontinence with normal menstruation. This case report describes the surgical technique of laparoscopic-assisted uterovaginal anastomosis. At a tertiary university hospital, a girl with uterine cervix atresia and vaginal aplasia underwent laparoscopic-assisted uterovaginal anastomosis. We assessed feasibility and anatomic outcome. Migraine is approximately three times more common in women than in men. Women tend to have longer attacks and are more likely than men to experience aura with migraine, but both sexes can experience frequent and severe attacks. Treatment principles for migraine and guidelines for the use of prophylactic and abortive therapies are generally consistent between males and females. However, due to hormonal changes induced in the female during menstruation, oral contraceptive use, pregnancy, and menopause, gender-specific therapeutic strategies are often necessary when treating migraine in females.

A seven year-old girl who presented with vaginal bleeding and a right ovarian cyst was diagnosed as having acquired primary hypothyroidism.
